Who’s that lady?

Hanna Kerkhof (born 1966) designs lifestyle products based on a daily ritual: from chocolates to teacups and from tables to coffee pots. She draws inspiration from the beauty of the everyday: the poetry of the moment, an emotion or a special street-find.

Hanna combines organic forms with simple functionality. She works with diverse materials, guided by curiosity and wonder. Her creations radiate a love of craftsmanship and show the hand of the maker.

Hanna studied at the Design Academy Eindhoven (DAE). Additionally, she studied for a year with Bořek Šípek at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design (UMPRUM) in Prague.

For 17 years she was a succesful business-coach for creatives with her company ‘de OndernemersWerkplaats‘. She worked for and with creatives. Taking them in the creative process of doing business in a successful way. Although she loved doing that, she missed being a designer and started designing again

“Today I am particularly happy to be the mother of two sons and to work as a designer again. Nothing big, nothing great: just to be, to create and to connect.”
